What is the Setup Wizard?

The Setup Wizard is a step-by-step onboarding process mandated for all newly registered schools before they can access the full dashboard. It is designed to ensure that the core master data is created quickly, making your system fully operational from Day 1.

5-Step Initialization

1. Step 1: School Profile — Provide your school's name, email, website, contact information, and logo.
2. Step 2: Academic Year — Register the current academic year dates to automatically bind system operations correctly.
3. Step 3: Classes & Sections — Easily auto-generate common classes (e.g., Class 1 to 10 with sections) or manually define your setup using smart defaults.
4. Step 4: Master Data Config — Set up core parameters such as:
   • Subjects: Define curriculum subjects (e.g., Mathematics, Science).
   • Fee Types: Create custom fee heads (e.g., Tuition Fee, Transport Fee).
   • Exam Types: Configure assessment structures.
   • Grading Rules: Select from helpful presets (Indian, Letter, Simple) or map out your own percentage-to-grade rules.
5. Step 5: Finalize System — The system securely processes your entire draft configuration using a single database transaction. Upon successful finalization, your fully-loaded School Admin dashboard is seamlessly unlocked.
