Parent Guide
How to use the parent portal to monitor your linked children's academic progress.
Getting Access
Parent accounts are created automatically by the system — you do not need to register yourself. Your school admin enters your child's profile with your email address, and an account is provisioned for you. Contact your school admin if you have not received your login credentials.
Selecting a Child
- After logging in, use the Child Selector dropdown in the left sidebar (under "Monitoring:") to switch between your linked children.
- All data — attendance, results, fees, timetable — automatically updates to reflect the selected child.
- Your selection is remembered across sessions via a browser cookie.
Multiple children
If you have more than one child enrolled in the school, all linked children will appear in the dropdown. Simply select the child whose records you want to view.
Child's Attendance
- View the attendance calendar for any month — colour-coded: Green = Present, Red = Absent, Yellow = Leave.
- See the overall summary — total days, present count, absent count, and attendance percentage.
Child's Exam Results
- View results organised by examination (e.g., Mid-Term, Final).
- See subject-wise obtained marks, maximum marks, percentage, and auto-calculated grade.
- Results appear as soon as the teacher or admin enters them.
Child's Fees
- Summary cards show total fees, amount paid, and pending balance.
- Each fee assignment shows its installment schedule with due dates and payment status.
- Click "Receipt" on any payment row to view and print the official fee receipt.
- Overdue installments are highlighted in red.
Child's Timetable
- View the weekly subject timetable for your child's class and section.
- Timetable is set by the school admin and reflects the current academic schedule.
Child's Hostel
- If your child is a hostel resident, view their room allocation details.
- View the mess menu and dietary information.
- Track hostel attendance records (morning and night sessions).
- View and monitor any maintenance complaints filed by your child.
Child's Profile
- View your child's basic profile information — name, roll number, class, section, and branch.
- Profile details are managed by the school admin.
