Productivity Tips
Bulk Fee Assignment
Use "Select All" when assigning fees to quickly assign a fee structure to an entire class at once.
Use Filters Effectively
Most pages support filtering by branch, class, and academic year. Use them to narrow down to exactly the data you need.
Print Receipts Immediately
After recording a payment, the receipt modal opens automatically. Click "Print" to generate a physical copy for the parent/student.
Check Daily Collections
Switch to the Payments tab in Fee Management and change the date to quickly review any day's collections with mode-wise breakdown.
Monitor Overdue Fees
Use the "Pending Fees" report regularly. Overdue installments are highlighted in red and sorted by due date, making it easy to follow up.
Export Attendance for Records
Use the Monthly Report → Export CSV feature to maintain offline attendance records or share with management.
Recommended Setup Order
New schools go through the guided Setup Wizard automatically after registration. Manual setup (e.g., adding a second branch) follows this order:
- Register School → Creates your School Admin account instantly
- Complete Setup Wizard → 5 steps: School Profile, Academic Year, Classes & Sections, Master Data (subjects, fee types, exam types, grade rules, timetable periods), Finalize — fully auto-saves progress
- Add Additional Branches (optional) → School Admin → Branches → Add Branch
- Create Users → Add Teachers, additional Staff via Users page; or use Bulk Upload for students
- Assign Students to Classes → Classes page → expand class → add students
- Add Subjects to Classes → Assign subjects with teachers per class
- Set up Fee Structures → Fee Management → define fees by type, frequency, class
- Assign Fees to Students → Generates installment schedules automatically
- Build Timetable → Timetable page → create weekly schedule per class
- Year-End → Run Promotions to move students to next class
Shortcut for large batches
For 50+ students, use Bulk Upload instead of adding individually. The CSV import creates student accounts, assigns them to the selected class, and auto-creates linked parent accounts in a single operation.
